Ben practices civil litigation with a primary focus in the areas of employment law and workers’ compensation. In addition, he practices in the criminal defense and unemployment benefits areas. Ben also teaches workers’ compensation law as an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University School of Law.
Ben gained practical experience from the Elder Law Clinic and the Community Law and Business Clinic while attending Wake Forest University School of Law. He was also selected into the pro bono honor society based on the number of pro bono hours he completed while in law school. Ben interned under the Honorable Judge Edwin Wilson Jr. in Rockingham, County North Carolina.
He serves as a Captain in the 134th Legal Operations Detachment of the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General Corps.
