2018 Leadership Academy Class Recognized

The North Carolina Bar Association Leadership Academyā€™s Class of 2018 has completed its leadership training program. The final session of the leadership program was conducted at the NCBA Annual Meeting in Wilmington.

The mission of the Leadership Academy is to help young lawyers become more effective leaders in their communities. It implemented by the NCBAā€™s Young Lawyer Initiatives Task Force in 2011 during the tenure of President Gene Pridgen under the direction of Past-President Norfleet Pruden.

Helen represents clients facing criminal charges in both state and federal court. She is a member of the Criminal Justice Act panel of attorneys in the Middle District of North Carolina, and is admitted to practice before the Eastern, Middle and Western District Federal Courts as well as the Fourth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal.
