On February 6, 2014, the Department of Homeland Security informed us that they are closing deportation proceedings against Noe Moreno, and he will be able to stay in the United States with his mother. Ā Noe was referred to our firm after the Duke Innocence Project successfully overturned his conviction for second-degree murder and ICE took him into custody to initiate deportation proceedings.
