Employment Law Firm NC

Alice sees her role as a bridge between people and the law. She gives practical, common-sense advice on wills and estates, provides custom legal support for the food and beverage industry people, and guides injured workers through the workers’ compensation process.

Born and raised in Los Angeles by an immigrant family, Alice lived in various parts of the world, including Taiwan and Canada, before settling in North Carolina. She has been a line cook, an intern chaplain at a hospital, and a distance education manager for a graduate school.

Alice has a B.A. in English from Middlebury College, Vermont, an M.Div. from Regent College in Vancouver, Canada, and was initiated as a Tar Heels fan at the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill. She served as a Notes Editor for the North Carolina International Law Journal, interned for the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy (a United Nations program)  in Vancouver, Canada, and helped low-income families prepare tax returns in the Income Tax Assistance Program sponsored by the IRS. She now continues to provide pro bono services through Legal Aid. Alice enjoys her off-hours cycling, cooking, and pouring wine at her husband’s wine store, The Caviste.
